by Ginny Dedicated to creating the finest in handcrafted jewelry and fused glass! I came up with this idea, thanks to a suggestion from my sister, Nancy, who travels a lot. When I told her I was doing ID lanyards, she said, "Why don't you make some for traveling?" She even helped me research suppliers for the plastic document holder. These lanyards are extremely versatile in that you will receive a plastic travel ID sleeve which will hold a boarding pass, picture ID and a passport. Hangs long enough so that when it is inside your jacket no one can see it but when asked for your picture ID, etc. you can just pull it out. You will also receive a regular clip to substitute for the plastic sleeve which will then attach to any badge you need for work. The necklace detaches with two lobster claws that hook together to make a long necklace or it will wrap around your neck twice if you want a shorter one. Most of these measure approx 34" but can be custom sized if desired. The beads are high quality, all glass and many are vintage and antique (over 50 years old) beads. Keep in mind that it is possible for me to do a custom piece for you very similar to one you see here even if it is sold or if you don't see your particular color choice.
